As think back to when we were talking about fan-fiction and as I was reading through some of the posts about fan-fiction I came into terms that I really have not payed much attention to as maybe I should. It is also a great way to unleash the mind. Now that I think about it, it would have worked well with our theme for this issue. The stories would be a distortion of the original ones or even shows.
Also when I think of fan-fiction I can't help but think of cartoon series merging in one episode. In this case I only think of this past blog that I happened to come by. This blog is talking of Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz,
I once came across a website that had a "Fan-Fiction Friday" in which they deliberately feature incredibly bad and psychologically horrifying examples of fan fiction. I only read one, and though it did make me laugh pretty hard, I couldn't read another out of the fear that the author's lack of understanding of spatial relations or even basic anatomy was making me dumber. Though there are examples of good fan fiction, of course. Anyone see the "50 Shades of Grey" skit on SNL? It reminded me of that presentation.
