Covers of a magazine is the most important part. In order to be attractive and stunning, the cover should be different from others.
the important of cover is to draw reader's attention and make the magazine outstanding. different magezine prefer different topic, for example, sports magezine prefer sports star and National geographic prefer nation image.
The right kind of magazine cover indeed makes the reader to actually buy the magazine. Bad covers just blend in. My personal favorite is definitely the girl staring at the viewer. Deliciously creepy.
I agree with what everyone has been saying. Covers are definitely what takes the eye appeal. Out of these covers I enjoyed the Squire covers the best. Especially the Campbell's and the "Oh my god- we hit a little girl" ones.
I only recognize about four of these covers, but a lot of them are striking. I know that whenever I buy a magazine that I don't subscribe to, it's because of what I see on the cover. So having a eye-catching cover definitely means sells for the magazine.
