I was reflecting back on alternative storytelling and came across an interesting website that got me thinking about a particular form.  With social networks, blogs, etc dominating quite a bit of public online communication
, it makes sense to compose a story completely out of related messages (unrelated messages with a specific goal would be fascinating too) as a new twist on journal or letter form stories.  Here is the link, which focus on the 18 most innovative alternative news stories in 2010:  http://www.businessinsider.com/alternative-storytelling-of-2010-2010-12#washingtonpostcom-a-facebook-story-a-mothers-joy-and-a-familys-sorrow-1
