Evolution of media
I thought this was interesting, but I did not understand exactly what
the blog was looking for. The article addressed a lot of things we are
talking about now, about the evolution of media, the distribution of
media to the general public, and the possibility of the public creating
more media as new forms become available. Benjamin applied similar
terminology and analysis to wooden-block printing, newspapers and
lithography/photography that many now apply to facebook and youtube. I
don't understand some of his thoughts about fascism, but the term has
probably changed quite a bit in meaning since the piece was written.
